Great Week!

What a wonderful and busy week we have had so far!  It has been great getting to know all of the students in class, and I look forward to a great school year.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Also, don't forget you can view how your child is doing in class daily by visiting our classdojo website. The student and parent codes were sent home on Monday with your child.

Have a wonderful rest of the week and long weekend! :)

PTA Fundraiser

Parents,

Here is some information regarding fundraisers that will be going on this school year. Please get involved any way that you can. If you have any questions please contact a PTA member.

  • Box Tops first collection will be in October. Teachers will receive "thank you" prizes along with their students for the most collected!
  • Link your Harris Teeter VIC card to "Fred A Smith" school #3171 . Go to  www.harristeeter.com/community/together_in_education/link_to_your_school
  • Go to www.labelsforeducation.com and create a supporter account. Find Smith and link your Kroger card. Find  the "elabels" under the "Earn Points" tab. Points are automatically banked every time you purchase a participating product at Kroger and use your card.
  • Go to Target.com and link your Target debit or charge card to our school. We earn money on every purchase you make! If you don't have one, think about the added benefit of 5% off of every purchase you make at Target :)
Details are still a work in progress for the Fall Fundraiser. More information to come! If you know of anyone who may want to sponsor us and have their business or name on our shirts, please feel free to share the attached letter. We are going to fall very short of our goal of being able to provide a shirt for all students and staff if we don't get more sponsors!
Thank you for your support of PTA. We hope to have another great year at Smith!
